And now for something a little out of the ordinary

I ran across the following video this past week and thought it would make a very interesting posting for anyone who’s really interested in baseball. I hope you enjoy it.

I’m sure all of use knew a bit of this. Hands up, how many of you have ever cut a baseball in half? Anyone here ever unwind one?

Yes I have cut up and stripped balls. I did not know that they were are sticky as they are.

I guess what we can't know is what the tension is on the wool as it is spooled and weather each season has a different tension to create the live/ dead ball. Very interesting especially the stitching and how it was made onto the V shape. Neat stuff. Thanks Rick
